Summary

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has issued a Future Business Opportunity (FBO No. 26LDM006) for a potential future procurement covering obsolescence management of TPS-79(R) radar systems. The service includes maintenance of the radars and their certification for Air Traffic Control (ATC) missions. The system concerned is the TPS-79 Radar System manufactured by Lockheed Martin Global Incorporated (CAGE 6WZB6). The estimated quantity is 5 radar systems. Delivery will be INCOTERMS DDP to a named address in Romania, which is also the place of performance. The estimated period of performance is 20 months from contract signature. Quality assurance requirements are ISO 9001:2015, AQAP 2110 and AQAP 2210. Interested manufacturers must negotiate licensing rights and access to the Technical Data Package directly with the original equipment manufacturer. Registration in the NSPA Source File supplier register is mandatory in order to respond to the future Request for Proposal (RFP). The date set in the notice is 1 December 2026. Please note that this is an advance notice, not an actual RFP and not a binding commitment. NSPA reserves the right to hold a pre-solicitation conference before the RFP is released. The RFP will be published at a later date on the NSPA eProcurement portal and is subject, together with Source File registration, to additional conditions not covered in this summary.
