NSPA – Interpretation services in Germany, Belgium, Lithuania and Poland

Summary

NSPA has published a Future Business Opportunity (Service Opportunity No. 26OSM011) for interpretation services. The notice title refers to translation and interpretation, but the scope covers only consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation. Interpreters will support soldier training in the field and in classrooms at multiple locations in Germany, Belgium, Lithuania and Poland. Translation of training manuals, technical documents and administrative paperwork is excluded. Interpreters are tasked as needed for defined durations according to training schedules. Country requirements: Lithuania – up to 3 simultaneous locations, up to 4 interpreters per location, clearance up to NATO SECRET, English<->Ukrainian/Russian/Lithuanian. Germany and Belgium – each up to 2 simultaneous locations, up to 2 interpreters per location, up to NATO CONFIDENTIAL, English<->Ukrainian/Russian. Poland – 1 location, 1 interpreter, up to NATO CONFIDENTIAL, English<->Ukrainian/Russian/Polish. Interpreters must be NATO nationals cleared from NATO RESTRICTED up to NATO SECRET, hold proficiency level SLP 3232 under STANAG 6001 for all language pairs, and be fit for field work outdoors in all weather. There are no gender restrictions. Suppliers need valid ISO 9001 certification and may come from all NATO nations. The base period runs from 1 May 2027 to 30 April 2028, with four optional one-year extensions. No estimated value is given. The 25 November 2026 date is the tentative RFP issue date, not a confirmed bid deadline. Evaluation criteria and detailed terms will be set out in the forthcoming RFP, which has not been reviewed here.
