Summary
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) seeks a five-year call-off contract for UN-approved 20-litre military steel jerrycans, flexible metallic pouring spouts, accessories and spares. NSPA makes no firm commitment to order. Estimated, non-binding five-year quantities are 50,000 jerrycans and 1,508 pouring spouts, plus 845 spare rubber seals, 25,000 embossed texts, 50,000 each of spout holders, drilled holes, locking pins, locking pin installations and ID plates, and 650 pairs of ADR labels. Requirements include: ADR chapter 6.1 manufacture and UN marking (steel, non-removable cap, packing groups I–III, 250 kPa test pressure); dimensions 165 × 345 × 469 mm; maximum empty weight 4.5 kg; 0.9 mm Al-Si-coated DX54D steel; DIN 7274-1 opening for a 31 mm nozzle; seal functional from -30 °C to +44 °C; internal RAL 3002 coating; external NATO Bronze Green RAL 6031-F9 or Brun Terre de France; and compatibility with the Deployable Jerrycan Filling Station (NSN 5411-22-125-1453). The tender is open to suppliers in NATO nations, Austria and Ukraine registered in the NSPA Source File. Bidders need ISO 9001 (bidder and manufacturer), AQAP 2131 compliance and CoC (AQAP 2070 template), and an environmental management system. The maximum lead time is 120 days for up to 1,500 jerrycans or 150 spouts. Award goes to the lowest-priced technically compliant bid, based on the lowest three-year average FCA price. Partial bids are not allowed. Samples must reach NSPA and the Danish MoD within 45 days of request. Bids are due 16 November 2026, 12:00 CET.
