Summary

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has published a Future Business Opportunity (FBO 26SAM003) for a potential procurement of contractor's logistics support for Deployable Sewage Treatment Systems (STS). This is a notification, not a request for proposal. The actual RFP will be published later on the NSPA eProcurement portal. The systems are designed to receive and treat grey and black water and to discharge the treated water and inert sludge into the environment. The required services cover annual preventive maintenance and post-use maintenance in accordance with OEM instructions, equipment inspections and technical reports, corrective maintenance, and technical support (including modification and upgrade studies under separate requests for quotation). They also cover the supply of spare parts, consumables, special tools and test equipment, as well as training (operation and maintenance). There are two types of equipment: 4 systems from MAISONNEUVE (6 skids each) and 5 systems from AIGA (several containers each). Transport services (20ft, 10ft or 6.5ft ISO containers) are also required as needed. The systems are stored at the NSPA Southern Operational Centre (SOC) in Taranto, Italy. Services may be delivered at the SOC, at the contractor's premises or at locations in European NATO countries and Türkiye. Quality requirements: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 10005 and a Certificate of Conformity for parts. Source File registration is mandatory in order to respond to the RFP. FBO published 20 April 2026, deadline 29 January 2027. The Ordering Agreement (OA) has a provisional duration of 3 years, with an estimated start in September 2027 and extension options. Detailed terms will be included in the subsequent RFP documentation, which is not covered here.
