NSPA – Re-painting of A330 MRTT Aircraft (FBO 26LTM004)

Summary

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has published an advance notice of an upcoming procurement (Future Business Opportunity, FBO No. 26LTM004) for the re-painting, i.e. top coat re-application, of A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft. The service covers the MMF (Multinational MRTT Fleet). The contractor shall perform chrome-free, semi-gloss top coat painting on an estimated 1–2 aircraft per year over a contract period of up to five years. The estimated quantity is 3 aircraft in the 2027–2028 period and possibly up to 6 aircraft in the 2029–2032 period. Service commencement is expected in 2027 (one aircraft). The work must be performed at the contractor's own facilities, which must meet all applicable EU or equivalent environmental, occupational health and safety requirements as well as military security requirements, and must comply with both civil and military regulations. Quality assurance level: Aviation Industry Standards. This notice is published for information purposes only and does not constitute a request for proposal or a commitment. Responding is not mandatory. Participation in the actual Request for Proposal (RFP) requires registration in the NSPA Source File supplier register. The FBO deadline is 30 October 2026. Detailed requirements and applicable regulations will be provided in the Statement of Work (SoW) only upon release of the RFP and are not covered in this summary.
