Summary
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) has published an advance notice (Future Business Opportunity, FBO) of a potential procurement to be carried out under Capability Package (CP) 9A0202 Serial 2008/5WI02020-01. The purpose of the procurement is to provide additional items for logistics support and deployment operations of NATO Deployable Ground Based Sensors (air C2 Surveillance and Identification Units). The equipment to be procured comprises four items: 1) Force Protection Electronic Security System (ESS), estimated quantity 10 units; 2) Rough Terrain Forklift (RTFL, 14 tonnes), 1 unit; 3) Electric Forklift (EFL, 4 tonnes), 1 unit; and 4) Light Truck Cherry Picker, 2 units. Quantities are estimates. The deliverables also include a packing plan, a logistics support package (documentation, spare parts and tools), the necessary engineering, testing, verification and validation, training, commissioning and acceptance, as well as project management and reporting. Quality assurance requirements are ISO 9001:2018 and AQAP 2110 Ed. D. Delivery terms are DDP, and the place of delivery is DACCC, Poggio Renatico, Italy. Delivery times after CA (Contract Award): 18 months for item 1 and 12 months for items 2–4. Registration in the NSPA Source File is mandatory in order to submit a bid. Note: this is an advance notice published for information purposes only, not a request for proposal. The date of the actual RFP is TBD; the deadline of 4 January 2027 stated in the notice refers to the eProcurement portal schedule. Binding terms will be set out in the RFP to be published later, which has not been taken into account here.
